Moxy Hotel, Williamsburg
Venetian plaster through the public rooms with hand-painted murals in the stair — the largest single scope we have carried, phased around an operating hotel.
Hand-troweled lime, Japanese plaster, tadelakt and gold leaf for restaurants, hotels and homes — installed by a crew that has worked together for twenty years, run on a system we built ourselves.
Samples, mixing, crew and detail.

Hand-painted faux marble crown molding — veining drawn by hand, coat over coat, until the plaster reads as quarried stone.
Every job starts with samples made on site, in the room's own light — because plaster that looks right in a shop looks like something else under a restaurant's lamps. Nothing goes on a wall until you have seen it where it will live.
Conor Foy has been finishing walls in New York since 2002. The work is done on site by a small crew who have been together a long time, with material mixed to the room rather than ordered off a shelf.
What changed over twenty-three years is everything around the trowel. Estimating, scheduling, daily logs, invoicing, payroll — we rebuilt all of it, then built the software to run it. Architects and general contractors now hire us as much for the way a job is managed as for the finish at the end.
If you are drawing a room and want to know what a surface can actually do, that conversation is free, and we enjoy having it.
Three ways people bring us in before a trowel touches a wall.
Material selection, on-site samples in real light, and spec language your GC can bid against.
Sequencing, substrate review, crew oversight and punch on plaster and decorative scope.
Estimating structure, job costing and workflow for finishing companies that want to scale.
All-in-one business management for construction, painting and decorating companies — from the first client inquiry through estimating, scheduling, invoicing, payment collection, payroll and reconciliation. We built it to run this shop. Now we sell it to yours.
